Our Story
The idea for Coffee Coop was born from a simple desire—a great cup of coffee on the go. After living in State College, where grabbing a quality coffee was part of daily life, Betsy and Daniel Francke moved to Hopewell in 2020. Betsy often mentioned how convenient it would be to have a coffee stop while taking her children to school. That dream turned into reality when they launched their mobile coffee trailer in November 2022, quickly gaining a loyal following at special events throughout the area—including at Altoona-Blair County Airport.
The success of the mobile trailer caught the attention of Airport Manager, Tracy Plessinger, who saw an opportunity to bring a permanent coffee shop to the airport terminal. With that encouragement, Coffee Coop opened its doors inside the Altoona-Blair County Airport, offering the same great coffee and products in a comfortable and convenient location.
What We Offer
At Coffee Coop, we take pride in serving freshly brewed coffee and expertly crafted espresso drinks to help you start your day or provide a mid-day pick-me-up. Our menu also features seasonal beverages, including our much-loved flavored lemonades and iced teas, with sugar-free options available to cater to different tastes.
In addition to drinks, we offer a selection of breakfast and snack items to keep you fueled while traveling or working. For those hosting meetings or events at the airport terminal or campus, we provide catering services with the same high-quality menu that our customers have come to love.
